In Part Two, Midgley addresses some of Maine’s most pressing policy challenges. He outlines his plans to cut and reallocate state spending, oppose sanctuary city policies, and redirect resources to benefit communities statewide. Midgley discusses the threat of illegal Chinese marijuana grows, the importance of stronger cooperation between local law enforcement and federal agencies, and reforms to improve Maine’s education system, including boosting parental involvement and raising teacher pay. He also shares his positions on Second Amendment rights, red flag laws, and fixing child protection failures within DHHS. Drawing on his experience growing Crunch Fitness to over 500 clubs, more than 3 million members, and 15,000 jobs, Midgley explains why he believes his leadership and operational skills can help Maine tackle its toughest problems.
