Dr. Chang trained at the University of California San Francisco for plastic surgery residency, followed by a fellowship in microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He was the 2024 ASRM Godina Fellow, currently serves on the editorial board of PRS Journal, and is widely published in reconstructive microsurgery.
