The implications of God’s regenerative work are dramatic. Human identity is at stake. We’ve spent time talking about the 2 creations and their paradigms of consciousness. One creation produced bondage to sin and death while the new creation delivered humanity from sin and death. The first creation had last days and came to an end. That’s because sin and death is a consciousness paradigm and God was in Christ reconciling that way of seeing. God was in Christ the individual in the process of dying to the first creation and rising as the firstborn one of the new. But why was there a need for the body of Christ or ecclesia? What was the role and function of the church? If so many are leaving the church, could it be that church itself became misunderstood by the Gentiles? The church, as it has been taught and handed down, is now a problem. It’s time to think about how God’s regenerative work was in that body. It’s time to think about a dramatically different future—or keep doing the same thing and wondering why it keeps failing.
