In this message, in Psalm 138, King David writes a psalm of public thanks to God for advancing him to the throne of Israel. Yet this psalm also looks forward prophetically to the day when God governs the earth and Jesus Christ reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords. In Psalm 139, David speaks of Yehovah’s knowledge of him, and that He pays attention to the intimate details of his life. Many spread this out to everyone and say that God pays attention to every little thing about us. But is it correct to take these statements about David’s relationship with Yahweh and spread them out to everyone?
