Labour MP and chair of the Labour Growth group of MPs Chris Curtis says the Government needs to be more radical on reducing the welfare bill, and in boosting the growth agenda. He says Labour should never have committed to not raising income tax at the last election and that the pensions triple lock is not sustainable in the long term.
