Full Poem. Abandoned, disgraced, rejected, erased So embarrassed of my body that I ate up all my pain Always so bitter looking for my Mrs. Sweet I was downing Little Debbies always looking at my feet Wore the shame on my face and you’d hear it in my voice Not a choice I could make without feeling like a toy Played with by the world and my family did the same Every night in the mirror I’d have myself to blame I can’t go back but I remember where I started, Right here I choose the path to heal the broken hearted.
