In episode 280 of the podcast, we’re joined in person by legendary Maine musician, Dave Gutter.

We dig into his nearly 40 years as a musician, his numerous projects, including Rustic Overtones, Paranoid Social Club, Armies and more, working with/winning a Grammy writing a song for Aaron Neville, and his fabulous new solo record ‘The Music Industry is Trying to Kill Me’.

There is so much that went into this convo, from our early love of Rustic Overtones, to Dave’s continuous work as a very talented and very underrated songwriter, and everything in between. Come for the music nerdery, and stay for the (unwelcome) sports takes!
