What’s the one thing you’ve always wanted to try on your podcast, but never dared to do? Today, we dusted off the mailbag and found some inspiration in a question from a fellow podcaster: “What’s one thing every podcaster should try at least once?” This got us thinking about all the ways we can break out of our routines and breathe new life into our shows. Today we share the experiments and challenges that have made the biggest difference for us. For some, it’s trying a new storytelling style, or getting out from behind the desk to record in the real world, or even letting someone else take the reins and interview you for a change. We discussed going live, the lessons you learn from editing your own episodes, and the value of connecting with your audience in new ways.
