We have an all-timer for you this month! Welcome to Episode 11 of the Plugged In Podcast, where we take a deep dive into emerging sustainability topics from battery trucks to solar trucks to hydrogen trucks.
This month we spoke with Erin Winkler, a Research Analyst on the Guidehouse Insights team about her report, “Hybrid Solar Plus Storage Energy Markets.” Erin’s work focuses on energy storage technologies and markets, including generation, deployment, and infrastructure. She has worked as a mathematical statistician at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. She has a BS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the Colorado School of Mines, which comes up faster than you might think.
In this episode we have a lot of fun talking about solar energy markets, solar energy technology, and what we are doing to store all of that energy the sun produces. This builds a lot on previous episodes, so give Episode 7 a listen if you haven’t! We also talk caving, relaxing goat videos, and an incredible Twitter account, the latter two of which will be linked below!
