🎙️ In this episode, I show you how to create a YouTube podcast playlist and connect your RSS feed so new episodes upload automatically!✅ What you'll learn:- How to set up a podcast playlist in YouTube Studio- How to submit your RSS feed for automatic uploads- Tips to make your podcast visible across platforms📥 Perfect for creators who want to grow their podcast audience without extra effort!🎙️ How to Create a YouTube Podcast Playlist & Add an RSS Feed🧩 Part 1: Create a Podcast Playlist in YouTube Studio- Go to YouTube Studio- Visit studio.youtube.com and log in to your channel.- Create a Playlist- In the left menu, click Content → Playlists- Click New Playlist- Name it (e.g., “Peter’s Podcast”) and set visibility to Public- Set the Playlist as a Podcast- Go to the playlist and click the three-dot menu- Select Set as Podcast- Add podcast details:- Title- Description- Cover art (square image, 800x800 recommended)- Add Episodes to the Playlist- Upload your podcast episodes as regular videos- Add them to the podcast playlist in order🔗 Part 2: Add Your RSS Feed to YouTube (Automatic Uploads)YouTube now supports RSS feed ingestion for audio-first podcasts in select regions. Here's how to connect it:- Get Your RSS Feed URL- From your podcast host (e.g., RSS.com, Buzzsprout, Anchor), copy your RSS feed link- Example: https://rss.com/podcast/peterpodcast/feed.xml- Go to YouTube Studio → Podcasts- In the left menu, click Content → Podcasts- Click Create Podcast or select an existing one- Submit Your RSS Feed- Choose Upload via RSS Feed- Paste your RSS feed URL- Verify ownership via email (YouTube will send a code to the email in your RSS feed)- Choose Visibility & Playlist- Set default visibility (Public, Unlisted, Private)- Select the podcast playlist you created earlier- YouTube Will Auto-Upload Episodes- YouTube converts each episode into a static video using your cover art- New episodes from your RSS feed will appear automatically in your playlist⚠️ Notes & Tips- RSS ingestion is only available in select countries- YouTube does not update episodes if you change audio or metadata later- Back-catalog episodes may upload as private—you can manually publish them- Avoid HTML or special characters in titles/descriptions
