In our digital and connected world, embedded processing solutions are the basic building blocks of electronic systems. Microcontrollers and processors, AI accelerators or system-on-modules enable data processing directly in the device or system in which they are embedded. Today, they can be found almost everywhere smart devices are used: in consumer electronics as well as in IoT devices, in increasingly automated cars as well as in industrial production technology.
According to market researchers at IMARC, the global market for embedded processors will reach $21.2 billion by 2024. The IMARC Group expects the market to reach $36.6 billion by 2033, with a CAGR of 5.98% between 2025 and 2033.
