The UNI Panthers won their MVC opener Wednesday night, 68-54 over the Illinois State Redbirds. Panthers have now won 3 of their last 4 games. Jenna Twedt led the Panther scoring effort with 16 points, Bri Robinson had 15 points and 4 assists, while Rylee Goebel notched a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. UNI goes back to the non-conference schedule now with a trip to Toledo on Saturday.
