Episode 126: Insights on K-Pop Demon Hunters
Manage episode 502793673 series 3592930
In this Insights episode, we're diving into something that’s been on everyone’s radar - the animated movie K-Pop Demon Hunters. After Lydia’s testimony last week (where she shared so much about her encounters with demons), it felt right to pull these two together - taking the opportunity to learn from her experience and compare what we see in the movie with the word of God.
I’ll share a bit of my own story too (including nightmares and sleep paralysis), unpack what this movie is really saying about demons, and look at how we can answer the big questions kids might ask: Can demons love? Do they have powers? Could a Christian be possessed?
And if your kids have already seen it - don’t panic. I’ll talk through how this can actually be an opportunity to have a really good faith conversation at home. My hope is that this episode gives you both confidence and clarity to talk with your kids about K-Pop Demon Hunters - and to see how God’s truth helps us answer even the biggest questions about demons and the spiritual realm.
