There’s this perception that as we approach midlife, it’s too late to start a new career or follow a new path and this stereotype is being smashed every day. Women our age are no longer settling for what they have, we are getting out there and finally doing what we’ve always wanted. This week, episode 8 of the Our Halftime Show Podcast is about taking on new challenges at midlife!

In this episode of Our Halftime Show, our guest Wendi Aarons shares why it is never too late to try something new and make a pivot in your life and why you should put yourself out there and find connection and community. Some of the talking points Lizzie, Meredith and Wendi go over in this episode include:

Encouraging women that it is never too late to make a pivot toward the life they want to live

  • Wendi’s transition from mommy blogging to midlife satire.
  • The stereotypes Wendi’s book is busting about midlife women.
  • Feeling the fear and finding the encouragement to try something new anyway.
  • Advice for those looking to find community online and make friends at midlife.
  • The best things about being a midlife woman.
