The public assassination of a martyr has a way of drawing us to the good in that person and his message. Tho' it's can be argued that Charlie was reaching and influencing hundreds of thousands, it is clear now that millions more who didn't know him, have suddenly been introduced to the truth and faith that Charlie believed in. His message has quickly been multiplied over the whole world by television and social media, and most of us were drawn to the Light that Charlie held up, so those millions looked deeper to learn what Charlie was about. Out of 3.8 million podcasts out there, Charlie's is now #1. His book sales are climbing the charts again. Before the tragedy, Turning Point had about 3,400 chapters. There are now 54,000 inquiries and formal requests for new chapters across the world. This is a 10X plus increase, and it would not have happened if not for the tragedy we witnessed.

These dynamics have not only led to Charlie's popularity, but is also one of the reasons God allowed us to witness the tragedy. Millions more people have decided to get serious about their lives, to start reading their bible again, to go to church again, who decided to nurture a culture that promotes families, and commit themselves to doing good. We are witnessing a miraculous positive change that would not have happened if Charlie remained in his position or passed away in a more normal fashion.

Rebukes have proven not to be effective. Only consequences will address this issue.

The Charlie Kirk 47 Civil Discourse Act:

This proposed bill is intended to place and enforce real consequences on our representatives for behavior unbecoming of a representative of Congress. For acts, statements or speech that insights hate speech or hateful conduct that could become actionable through violence by constituents, the representative (s) will be suspended from serving for 47 days without pay. Any house votes or proceedings that occur while the representative is suspended WILL go forward, and their seat vote will default to the opposite party while they are suspended.
