This is the Official Celtic FC Podcast and, on this episode, Matthew Campbell speaks to Martin McCrum and Mary Gemmell about the Tommy Gemmell Community Project which will see a statue of the Lisbon Lion unveiled in his home town of Craigneuk this year.

Martin, who is fronting the project, explains why this initiative is about more than just the statue itself as he reflects on Tommy’s incredible playing career, whilst Mary, Tommy’s widow, shares some incredible stories and memories of Tommy from throughout the years.

Mary also reveals a stunning piece of information regarding the plans for the statue, which is sure to stir up emotions amongst every Celtic supporter.

There is also a special ‘From the Archives’ feature in this episode where you can hear Tommy being interviewed by his former Lisbon Lions teammate and friend, Jim Craig.
