In June 1983, a 911 call was placed to Anchorage police around 3 o’clock in the morning after a nude woman was seen running down the street, handcuffed. Police didn’t know it at the time, but this woman had just escaped the grip of a violent serial killer. When the bodies of women began turning up in and around downtown Anchorage, police knew that these women had all suffered the same fate at the hands of the same perpetrator. Throughout their investigation, a pilot’s name keeps being thrown around - a pilot who has an aviation map depicting 37 little x’s. When police finally follow the trail, they are shocked at what they find.
