This talk showcases several groundbreaking AI projects that Dr. Ruopeng An's team has developed to address pressing societal challenges. These projects include using AI to combat COVID-19 disinformation on social media, improving precision nutrition with computer vision models, tracking public sentiment on soda taxes and menu labeling laws, and autocorrecting exaggerated health research headlines.
