Walter Leger, Jr. Leger was appointed to the Port NOLA Board of Commissioners in July 2020 by Gov. John Bel Edwards. He served a five-year term, ending October 21, 2025. Throughout his tenure, Leger brought extensive maritime legal expertise, deep community service, and decades of experience in economic development.
