In 1972 a group from the Toronto Society for Psychical Research began meeting weekly in attempts to conjure the spirit of a 17th century knight, Sir Philip Aylesford.
The leader of the group, Doctor A.R. George Owen, had read about the belief that ghosts and poltergeists can created by individuals simply using their minds and wondered if his group could tap into some type of unknown psychic abilities to do the same.
The surprising results of their experiment left many with the question, can you really make a ghost out of thin air?
Find out the true story on the experiments and the theories of what actually happened on today's episode of Myths, Mysteries, & Monsters!
