Day 53: Jason writes all day to finish the script moments before all the cast and crew table read it for the first time. Originally planned as the first day of shooting, day 53 is needed for finishing the script and prep. Jason adjusts a character for an actor he liked in auditions. Jason talks through the ending of the film and how he wrote it from structure beats, location, production issues, and theme. He discusses the table read and everyone’s response and the decision about shooting the next day.
