A first for Music Stories I think, an interview with another DJ !
Of course Pete Sherriff and I have a lot in common and could have talked for weeks! In fact there will be a Part 2 interview as he has so many interesting and inspirational stories to tell.
My wife Emma and I watched Pete very professionally DJ and Compare at a festival in the summer, I was so impressed with his personality and professionalism I had to try and track him down for an interview!
We talk about how he started at school ( same as me) and he has stories about his time at clubs, including The Dome in Birmingham - where Emma used to go as a young woman to dance to his tracks! Small world!
Pete is a lovely bloke as you will hear and he has some excellent advice for DJs trying to make it, and even more advice for bands performing at festivals which he has vast experience of!
