ખોવાયેલી ઢીંગલી , છોકરી અને એ પત્રો. The lost doll, the girl and the letters.

40 વર્ષની ઉંમરે જર્મન રાઇટર, ફ્રાન્ઝ કાફકા (1883-1924), જેમણે ક્યારેય લગ્ન કર્યા ન હતા અને તેમને કોઈ સંતાન ન હતું, બર્લિનના ઉદ્યાનમાંથી પસાર થતા હતા ત્યારે તેમને નાની એક છોકરી રડતી દેખાઈ, કે જેની પ્રિય ઢીંગલી ગાર્ડન માં ક્યાંક ખોવાઈ ગયી હતી પછી તેણે અને કાફકાએ તે શોધવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો પણ એમને એ ન મળી.

સાંજ પડી જતા કાફ્કા એ તેને સમજાવી અને કાલે ફરી પાછા આવી ને શોધીશું , એમ કહીને ઘરે મોકલી.

બીજા દિવસે, જ્યારે તેઓ ઢીંગલી શોધવા આવ્યા, ત્યારે કાફકાએ છોકરીને ઢીંગલી દ્વારા "લખાયેલો" પત્ર આપ્યો, જેમાં લખ્યું હતું કે કૃપા કરી ને રડીશ નહિ , હું દુનિયા ની સફરે જવા નીકળી છું અને હું તને મારા આ પ્રવાસ અને સાહસો વિશે પત્ર લખતી રહીશ

આમ એક પછી એક પત્રો નો સિલસિલો શરુ થયો કે જે કાફ્કા ના જીવન ના અંત સુધી ચાલુ રહ્યો. તેમની મીટિંગ દરમિયાન, કાફકા ઢીંગલીના સાહસો અને વાતચીતો સાથે લખેલા પત્રો કાળજીપૂર્વક વાંચી સંભળાવતો ,જેનાથી તે છોકરી ખુશ થઇ જતી.

અંતે, કાફકા એ ઢીંગલી પાછી લાવ્યા (તેણે એક ખરીદી) કે જે દુનિયાનો પ્રવાસ કરીને બર્લિન પાછી આવી હતી.

છોકરીએ કહ્યું. કે "તે બિલકુલ મારી ઢીંગલી જેવી નથી લાગતી,"

ત્યારે કાફકાએ તેને બીજો પત્ર આપ્યો જેમાં ઢીંગલીએ લખ્યું હતું: કે "મારી મુસાફરીએ મને બદલી નાખી છે." અને નાનીછોકરીએ નવી ઢીંગલીને ગળે લગાવી અને તેને ખુશ થયી ને ઘરે લઈ આવી.

ત્યારબાદ થોડા સમયમાં કાફકાનું અવસાન થયું.

ઘણા વર્ષો પછી,હવે પુખ્ત વયની થઈ ગયેલી એ છોકરી ને ઢીંગલીની અંદર એક પત્ર મળ્યો. કાફકા દ્વારા સહી કરેલા એ નાના પત્રમાં લખ્યું હતું:

" તમને જે ગમે છે, તે બધું કદાચ કયારેક ગુમાવી બેસો , પરંતુ વિશ્વાસ રાખો કે અંતે, એ બધું જ વધારે સારી રીતે તમારા જીવન પાછું આવશે."

At the age of 40 the German writer, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, was walking through a Berlin park when he saw a little girl crying, whose beloved doll had been lost somewhere in the garden. Then he and Kafka tried to find it but could not find it.

As evening fell, Kafka sent him home saying that he would come back tomorrow and find out.

The next day, when they come to find the doll, Kafka gives the girl a letter "written" by the doll, which says, "Please don't cry, I'm off on a world trip and I'll keep writing to you about my travels and adventures."

Thus began a series of letters one after another that continued till the end of Kafka's life.

During their meetings, Kafka would carefully recite letters written with the doll's adventures and conversations, much to the girl's delight.

Finally, Kafka brought back (he bought one) the doll that had traveled the world back to Berlin.

said the girl. that "she doesn't look like my doll at all,"

Kafka then gave her another letter in which the doll wrote: "My travels have changed me." And the little girl hugged the new doll and happily brought it home.

Kafka died shortly thereafter.

Many years later, the girl, now an adult, finds a letter inside the doll.

The little letter, signed by Kafka, read: "You may lose everything you love sometimes, but trust that in the end, it will all come back to you better."
