Nanette shares her upbringing in a devout Mormon family, her early experiences with spirituality, and how the tragic shooting of her husband, Corey, who was a sergeant for the Utah County Sheriff's Department, opened her to her mediumistic abilities. Following Corey's death, Nanette experienced direct communications from him and other spirits, leading her to seek understanding and training in mediumship despite initial fears and lack of support from her religious community.
