They recount disturbing incidents from the nineteenth century of Mormons purchasing and/or kidnapping Native American children, often as a result of violent conflicts between the Mormons and the Natives. The hosts critically discuss the cultural and racial implications, questioning the ethical pretext that the children were being 'saved' and 'brought to God'. The hosts discuss the integrated spiritualism of indigenous tribes and critique the inherent racism within early Mormon doctrine.
