50 | Kids Always Sick (So You Get Sick Too): My Sensory Friendly Immune Boosting Remedies
Manage episode 522456476 series 3634698
It’s never fun being sick, especially for kids. When your child has sensory challenges, a simple cold can turn into a search of remedies that don’t send them running. In this two-part series, I’m sharing some of my favorite approaches, beginning with immune-boosting options to help prevent illness or shorten the time you and your kids are sick. Remember having a plan for sick days is a form of self-care.
Resources:
- Elderberry syrup home made recipe: I usually omit the dried echinacea because of the grittier taste
- Fire Cider Recipe
- Kid Friendly Version I also add range slices and cinnamon sticks
- Food based vitamin C

Hey friends, I will be sharing from my personal experience and since I am not a licensed therapist or medical provider these episodes should not be considered therapeutic or medical advice. But if my stories make you smile, that is a bonus!
We have an active home, so you will hear kids in the background sometimes, thanks for understanding.
