In connection with the Olivet Discourse, Jesus tells the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. While the bridegroom delayed in his coming, five wise virgins had enough oil to light their lamps, while five foolish virgins ran out of oil. While they are gone, the bridegroom arrives locking out the foolish virgins. In this episode, we cover different perspectives of this parable and its primary interpretation of waiting and not growing weary.
