In 1962, three inmates vanished from America’s most secure prison—Alcatraz.
Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin carved through concrete with stolen spoons, crafted a raft out of raincoats, and left behind hauntingly lifelike dummy heads in their beds.

Did they drown in the freezing waters of San Francisco Bay?
Or did they pull off the most legendary prison break in U.S. history?

In this episode, Alé takes you deep into the planning, the escape, and the decades of swirling theories—from postcards and family sightings to a mysterious photo in Brazil and a chilling letter sent in 2013.

In This Episode:

  • A retelling of the 1962 Alcatraz prison escape
  • Detailed breakdown of the escape plan and route
  • The role of Popular Mechanics magazine, accordion bellows, and stolen spoons
  • Firsthand accounts and timeline of the morning after
  • Deep dive into theories: Did they drown, or did they survive?
  • New evidence uncovered decades later, including a stolen car, a photo from Brazil, and a letter allegedly from John Anglin
  • FBI & U.S. Marshals’ ongoing involvement
