This study examines the challenges associated with obtaining safe drinking water in sub-Saharan Africa, with a specific focus on a case study conducted in Ogun State, Nigeria. It examines the factors that influence water accessibility and quality, including socio-economic status, proximity to water sources, and cost. The research utilizes a multi-stage sampling technique and various statistical models to analyze household perceptions and identify the most impactful variables related to water access. Ultimately, the findings aim to inform policy recommendations for enhancing sustainable water management and distribution within the region.
