Lesson 14: The Wise Use of Time
Section 3: An Exercise to Develop your Awareness
Paragraphs: 23-24
Ever wondered why some people thrive long-term while others burn out? In this episode, we explore the Wise Use of Time and offer a simple exercise to boost awareness. Drawing from George Leonard's "Mastery," we discuss the importance of embracing the plateau for lasting progress. I also share insights from my work with professional athletes about staying focused in a world full of distractions from social media and technology.

In choosing mastery, we look at how fear is tied to certain thoughts and how letting go of these attachments leads to true mastery. We discuss the power of mindfulness, the space between stimulus and response, and how journaling can help overcome the fear of failure.

Lastly, we dive into mindset shifts in embracing a growth mindset. Learn to see challenges as opportunities, recognize your inherent worth, and let go of conditioned thinking. I also share my personal journey through fear and self-judgment, showing how growth is more powerful when supported by others. Join us, subscribe, and share—let’s navigate this path together.
