E131 - Lana McAra - Multi Author, Ghost Writer - From Being Rejected for years to Full-Time Author
Lana McAra is an award winning, international best-selling author and ghostwriter of more than 40 titles with nearly a million books sold (many under the pseudonym Rosey Dow), including two cookbooks. An author via traditional publishing for 30 years, she has been editing and ghostwriting for more than 20 years, working for WinePress Publishing as well as Author One Stop and individual clients.

She won the national Christy Award for Reaping the Whirlwind in 2001--scheduled for re-release in June, 2023--and her historical cozy mystery series, Colorado, sold more than 250,000 copies. Going through a divorce after a 30-year marriage, Lana took a hiatus from her own fiction work and focused on ghostwriting while adjusting to her new life. She is about to release her new cozy mystery series entitled The Englewood Medium: Shaken But Not Stirred.

Lana lives in Central Arizona where she very much enjoys country living in the high desert mountains.
