In this episode of Living Inspired with Autism, I’m unpacking one of the biggest beliefs so many of us autism parents carry: “If I just do more therapy, push harder, and stay strong, our family will finally thrive.”

I share my own story of when Max was little, and our lives became a therapy marathon - speech, OT, ABA, horse therapy, you name it, we did it. On the outside, it looked like I was doing everything right. But inside? We were exhausted, disconnected, and running on guilt.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Why filling your calendar with endless therapies often backfires.
  • The hidden toll therapy overload takes on both parent and child.
  • What to focus on instead if you want true progress and connection.

Because therapy without alignment isn’t growth - it’s just noise. If you’ve ever felt like a hamster on the therapy wheel, this episode will remind you there’s another way.
