What does living a consecrated life actually look like on a Tuesday afternoon, or any other time?

I'm David Risley, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I gave a talk in church today about living consecration—the principle of dedicating everything we have and are to God and His service.

Not as theory. As practice.

Consecration means “all in”—our time, talents, and resources shift from "mine" to "thine." But how does that translate when you're facing real decisions, real challenges, real life?

This podcast explores that question. I'll share my perspective and bring in other voices, including from other faiths, because the call to fully dedicate our life to God is universal.

Episode 1 is the talk I gave this morning—recorded fresh when I got home. It’s where we establish the foundation: what consecration means and why it matters.

This is Living Consecration. If you've ever wondered whether living "all in" for God is possible in the modern world, in your world, let's find out together.

WATCH EPISODE 1 — Consecration: What It Really Means to Be "All In" for God — recorded fresh the day the talk was given.
