Off Track: Hard personal truths can be unlocked if we don’t judge the book by its cover! (Zeina Khoury episode review)
Manage episode 482270810 series 3665127
Welcome to a special bonus episode of Luca’s Insight Track. In this 'Off Track' edition, I talk about the insights I learned from my latest episode with Zeina Khoury. I reflect on the speed at which we pass judgment on others and the dangers of relying on first impressions. This becomes even more evident in the case of someone like Zeina, a successful CEO and a reality TV star & celebrity. Not judging a book based on its cover is easy to say, but extremely difficult to implement. The show allows me to really understand what’s in that book, break any stereotypes, and bring to light what I think really matters.
In this episode, I talk about the importance of looking beyond the initial judgments we make, to understand the why in order to better understand the ‘who.’ From afar, Zeina’s strong sense of pride in her achievements, her role on Dubai Bling, and her passion and love for fashion can paint a pretty easy book cover to read. However, when you turn the pages, you will learn that the initial judgments we have are much more a reflection on who we are than on the person we are judging. The hard truths are often always inside, and in a way, we actually need the help of others to help us come to terms and deal with them.
In this unfiltered, improvised, and off-scripted episode, I share my personal insights that have and continue to shape who I am. Tune in now for a raw and thought-inspired conversation on Off Track!
