The Caves Ouvertes event in Vaud returns this year, offering wine lovers the perfect opportunity to explore the region’s diverse vineyards and cellars. Held over 7 - 8 June 2025, visitors can meet local winemakers, taste a wide variety of wines, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that defines Swiss wine culture. With charming countryside settings, and food stalls, Caves Ouvertes is more than just a wine tasting, it's a celebration of tradition, community, and the art of winemaking.
Jean-Daniel Heniger, President of Nyon Wines, is helping lead the local celebrations in Nyon. His wife Alexandra shared details about a special event on the castle square at the Château de Nyon. This picturesque spot will be transformed into a hub where guests can sample both food and wine in one convenient location. It’s also the perfect place to collect your Caves Ouvertes essentials: a glass, glass-holder, bracelet, and a CHF 20.- wine voucher valid throughout the weekend.
