In this third episode, Jules speaks to Dr Graham Durcan. Graham is a researcher with a background as a psychiatric nurse who has spent years working in and around prisons. He’s seen first-hand the challenges of supporting people inside, and what happens when people don’t get the help they need. In this conversation they explore what the biggest mental health challenges that people face in prison, what barriers there are to getting support. As well as what would need to change if we were serious about making rehabilitation work
