when I said I found a driving instructor to practice driving?

我已经练了三次

wǒ yǐ jīng liàn le sān cì

I have practiced three times,

基本会开了

jī běn huì kāi le

and I can basically drive now.

我自己也开了几次

wǒ zì jǐ yě kāi le jǐ cì

I have also driven by myself several times.

有导航，开在路上还比较顺利

yǒu dǎo háng, kāi zài lù shàng hái bǐ jiào shùn lì

With navigation, driving on the road is quite smooth.

可是那天我在停车场

kě shì nà tiān wǒ zài tíng chē chǎng

But that day in the parking lot,

把车屁股撞烂了

bǎ chē pì gǔ zhuàng làn le

I smashed the rear of the car.

真是伤心呀

zhēn shí shāng xīn ya

I was really sad.

修车可能要花几千元呢

xiū chē kě néng yào huā jǐ qiān yuán ne

Repairing the car may cost several thousand yuan.

但是我老公没去修

dàn shì wǒ lǎo gōng méi qù xiū

But my husband didn't get it repaired.

他说我还会撞的

tā shuō wǒ hái huì zhuàng de

He said I would crash again,

到时候一起修

dào shí hou yī qǐ xiū

and we can get it repaired together then.

停车真是太难了

tíng chē zhēn shì tài nán le

Parking is really too difficult.

停车有两种

tíng chē yǒu liǎng zhǒng

There are two types of parking:

一种叫倒车入库

yī zhǒng jiào dào chē rù kù

one is called reverse parking,

一种叫侧方位停车

yī zhǒng jiào cè fāng wèi tíng chē

and the other is called parallel parking.

如果两边没车

rú guǒ liǎng biān méi chē

If there are no cars on either side,

或者只有一边有车

huò zhě zhǐ yǒu yī biān yǒu chē

or only on one side,

那我可以慢慢停好

nà wǒ kě yǐ màn màn tíng hǎo

I can park slowly and properly,

每次都要调整好久

měi cì dōu yào tiáo zhěng hǎo jiǔ

but I have to adjust for a long time every time.

开车十分钟，停车半小时

kāi chē shí fēn zhōng, tíng chē bàn xiǎo shí

It takes ten minutes to drive, but half an hour to park.

如果两边都有车

rú guǒ liǎng biān dōu yǒu chē

If there are cars on both sides,

那我就不敢停了

nà wǒ jiù bù gǎn tíng le

I don't dare to park.

所以我都不敢开到商场去

suǒ yǐ wǒ dōu bù gǎn kāi dào shāng chǎng qù

So I don't dare to drive to the mall.

上次把车屁股撞了

shàng cì bǎ chē pì gǔ zhuàng le

The last time I smashed the rear of the car,

就是在我们新房子的地下车库里

jiù shì zài wǒ men xīn fáng zi de dì xià chē kù lǐ

it was in the underground parking lot of our new house.

可能是太黑了

kě néng shì tài hēi le

Maybe it was too dark,

我的视力也不太好

wǒ de shì lì yě bù tài hǎo

and my eyesight is not very good.

散光很严重

sàn guāng hěn yán zhòng

I have severe astigmatism.

好像雷达也没报警

hǎo xiàng léi dá yě méi bào jǐng

It seems the radar didn't alarm either,

就撞到后面柱子了

jiù zhuàng dào hòu miàn zhù zi le

so I hit the pillar behind.

我老公一定很心疼

wǒ lǎo gōng yī dìng hěn xīn téng

My husband must have been very distressed,

因为他一直很爱护这个车

yīn wèi tā yì zhí hěn ài hù zhè ge chē

because he has always taken good care of this car.

一点擦挂都不能容忍

yī diǎn cā guà dōu bù néng róng rěn

He can't tolerate even a slight scratch.

可是他也只能忍住生气

kě shì tā yě zhǐ néng rěn zhù shēng qì

But he could only hold back his anger,

反而安慰我

fǎn ér ān wèi wǒ

and comforted me instead.

我们这个车是奔驰的七座车

wǒ men zhè ge chē shì bēn chí de qī zuò chē

Our car is a seven-seater Mercedes-Benz.

比较大

bǐ jiào dà

It's quite big,

开起来会比较有安全感

kāi qǐ lái huì bǐ jiào yǒu ān quán gǎn

so driving it gives a greater sense of security,

但是停车就更难了

dàn shì tíng chē jiù gèng nán le

but parking is even more difficult.

如果以后能给我自己买个小车

rú guǒ yǐ hòu néng gěi wǒ zì jǐ mǎi gè xiǎo chē

If I can buy a small car for myself in the future,

可能就好停车了

kě néng jiù hǎo tíng chē le

parking might be easier.
