In this episode of Leading in Color, host Sarah Morgan announces the return of BlackBlogsMatter, a writing and podcasting challenge originally launched in 2017. After a four-year hiatus, the challenge returns for 2025 with 12 days of short, impactful episodes airing every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in February.

Kicking off the series, Sarah explores the ongoing importance of Black voices in a world that continues to suppress them. Drawing inspiration from Toni Morrison’s powerful words, Sarah emphasizes that now is the time to create, speak, and stand firm. And she challenges all listeners—Black and non-Black—to consider how they will use their voices during this season of reflection and action.
