Today’s word of the day is ‘final four’ as in the Mariners as in the Blue Jays as in Seattle as in Toronto as in the ALCS! The Mariners took the first game 3-1 behind great pitching and the big players making big moments. Cal Raleigh homered. Jorge Polanco picked up two RBI. The Blue Jays couldn’t hit. Long series though! (19:20) The Dodgers are going with Blake Snell and then Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2. Where is Ohtani? Well, the Dodgers have a plan for that. What about the Brewers? An opener? (31:30) Let’s go back to that Phillies loss. A rushed errant throw by Orion Kerkering was it. A mental mistake for the ages. (36:00) What are the Cubs going to do with Kyle Tucker? Is he a longterm Cub? Is he leaving? (38:30) Review: Play Dirty. (45:00) It looks like Albert Pujols is likely to become the next manager of the Los Angeles Angels. Welp. (50:00) NPPOD.
