We tackle this looking at examples from this week in news and culture including a white female Kendrick Lamar fan’s use of the N-word juxtaposed with Stephen A Smith’s similar use of the word, Trump’s comments on ‘subhuman’ members of our society, and an exploration of black culture’s struggle to embrace queer identity. This conversation was then steered toward a recent public Munk Debate on political correctness featuring internet sensation Jordan Peterson, Michelle Goldberg, Michael Eric Dyson and Stephen Fry. Due to us running low on time our final 5 things centered on our content recommendations for the week, which if we’re being honest, were pretty far from PC.
