Kate founded Collective Concepts in the Northland in 2008. Now based in Christchurch it focuses on professional event management and delivery, experiential and digital brand engagement, and wedding planning and coordination.

Kate discusses learnings from her 13 years of running a business, combined with her former career in hotel management and says strong client and supplier relationships are the number one key to success. These helped her navigate challenging times for events and wedding industry resulting from the COVID pandemic.
