Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our weekly theme of “Tough Questions for Christians” with discussions about how Jesus sees us when no one else does. We turned to Matthew 20:29-34, where we see how Jesus healed the two blind men who were calling to Him, despite the people in the crowd telling them to be quiet. Jesus saw those two men and healed them of their infirmities. Then we had Abdu Murray join us to share his faith story, from being a Muslim to becoming a believer, and he debunked the racial myths associated with Christianity. Abdu is a speaker, author, and attorney who specializes in addressing issues where religious faith and emerging cultural trends intersect and collide. He is also the President of Embrace the Truth and has spent decades analyzing how major religious and non-religious thought traditions have addressed emerging cultural issues. Then we had Rob West join us to explain the biblical design for financial generosity in the church. Rob is the host of the nationally syndicated radio program Faith and Finance LIVE, which airs weekdays at 3 pm on 90.1 FM. He is also the host of the Faith and Finance podcast and has a FaithFi App. He is also the CEO of Kingdom Advisors, a community of financial professionals specializing in delivering biblically wise financial advice.
