In this powerful crossover episode, we (Joree & John) open up about the real work it took to heal the attachment wounds we each brought into our relationship. Like so many couples, we found ourselves caught in the anxious/avoidant cycle—pursuing, withdrawing, misunderstanding—and it took conscious effort, deep reflection, and lots of compassion to shift out of those patterns.

Together, we share how doing our individual and relational healing helped us build a foundation of safety and security. We talk about what it actually looks like to move from reactivity to intentional connection, and how secure attachment isn’t something you’re just born with—it’s something you build.

This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt stuck in relationship dynamics that feel frustrating or familiar, and who’s ready to grow beyond old wounds and into a more grounded, connected love.
