We’re excited to bring you a special feature today! We recently had the privilege of interviewing the incredibly talented Yaron Gershovsky. He’s not only a world-renowned pianist and keyboardist; he’s also an accomplished arranger and producer, having served as the Musical Director for the famous Jazz Super Group, The Manhattan Transfer for over forty years.
Yaron’s impressive resume includes collaborations with jazz legends like Pharaoh Sanders, The Count Basie Orchestra, Abraham Laboriel, Richie Havens, Take 6, and many others. Yaron graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and his remarkable talents have played a substantial role in two Grammy-winning songs, as well as one other Grammy-nominated piece.

Yaron has collaborated on a number of projects with talented writers like Jimmy Thrasher, Lisa Jason, and Katie Barbour, with the standout piece being the song "More To Say," which paved the way for the "More To Say Work." Through these musical projects, a close friendship has been forged with Yaron and Jimmy and Melissa Thrasher. We feel truly fortunate to have had the chance to sit down with Yaron Gershovsky for an interview. He shared insights on a variety of topics, including his childhood, family, college experiences, and his collaborations with renowned figures in the music industry, all while reflecting on his adventures as a world traveler. Join us as we explore these fascinating subjects and more with Yaron Gershovsky!
