The Counting Crows' song "Mr. Jones" captures a universal feeling: the ache of loneliness and a deep desire for beauty and love. It's a fundamental human need we all try to fill. In our moments of isolation, we can remember God's promise: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3).

"God is love" (1 John 4:8). This love is not an abstract concept, but a person made tangible and very approachable in person and divinity of Jesus.

The answer to this deep longing for love, beauty, and community is a Jewish carpenter. Jesus understands our inner pain and desires, for we have a high priest who can "empathize with our weaknesses" (Hebrews 4:15). He is the source of all that is good, as "every good and perfect gift is from above" (James 1:17). In Him, we find a person you can walk with, sing to, and know.
