Samsung's Z Fold 7 was just released a few months ago and approximately another 9 months separates us from the Z Fold 8, yet the first rumors and leaks have started. And it seems like Samsung is encouraged by the positive response of the Z Fold 7, is seemingly to implement more ideas along the lines that made the Z Fold 7 a success i.e. meaningful technological improvements. According to the recent rumors, the Z Fold 8 could sport a larger battery and further improve on the cameras. While the return of the S Pen is unsure, Samsung apparently is still working on various approaches to return the S Pen to the foldable device. After all, such research is not lost as it could later transfer to its tablets lines and eventually foldable tablets and laptops... But with all of that said, the major leak has to do with a potential Z Fold 8 Ultra. It is only logical, as we pointed out months ago, that Samsung should replicate the success of the Galaxy S line Ultra phones if it truly wants to see foldables considered as the potential heir to the throne. And this potential Z Fold 8 Ultra would have all the bells and whistles, including a more powerful battery, and perhaps if Samsung can pause the focus on thinness it could well find a way to find space for both a larger battery and the S Pen. Also, it is said that the border could be slightly curved, which could make opening the devices easier. These are certainly encouraging news from the Samsung camp.
