It's hard to believe the election is here, but its been here ever since North Carolina started early voting on September 4th. Now some 95 million have voted early and its this high turnout that promises to deliver a few surprises on Tuesday; and the Show Me State may be perfectly primed for such a surprise. Traditionally a bellwether, only in the last few cycles has Missouri performed reliably Republican. In this seventh episode of Intention, host Byron DeLear is joined by his life partner, Vicki Englund, who is the 2020 Democratic Nominee for Missouri State Treasurer. They discuss running statewide as a democrat and why Missourians are showing up with supermajority support for healthcare and unions yet play the political parties like rooting for the home team in sports.
