Josh Littlejohn MBE is a speaker, philanthropist, and one of the UK’s leading social entrepreneurs, having raised over £7 million for charity and significantly impacted the issue of homelessness in Scotland.

In 2011 he set up The Scottish Business Awards, the largest awards dinner of its kind in the whole of the UK with past keynote speakers such as Sir Bob Geldof, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Sir Richard Branson and former U.S. President, Bill Clinton.

In 2012 he co-founded Social Bite, a social enterprise with a mission to eradicate homelessness in Scotland. 100% of Social Bite’s profits are donated to good causes and 1 in 4 of their staff are people from homeless backgrounds. Social Bite also feeds the homeless with food that customers pre-pay for.

In 2016, he co-founded Brewgooder, a social enterprise beer company that donates all of its profits to clean water projects around the world. Their mission is to provide clean drinking water for 1 million people within five years.

In 2017, he was awarded an MBE in the New Years Honours list, he’s received 2 honorary doctorates and he also made the Debrett’s list of 500 most influential people in the UK.

2017 also saw him organise the world’s biggest sleep-out event Sleep In The Park which drew more than 8,000 people. The event was handed the Judges Choice Award at The Herald Culture Awards and it came in at number 10 on ‘The Massive Top 25’.

In May 2018, the Social Bite Village was officially launched in Edinburgh to provide housing for homeless people, and in late June they welcomed their first residents.
