Madison and Warrick counties have been selected for the state’s RED quality of life program. UFCW Local 700 members have approved a new three-year contract with Kroger covering 8,000 central Indiana workers. Purdue University will launch 15 new academic programs in Indianapolis over the next two years, including degrees in sports engineering, radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, and hospitality management. Also: Purdue Northwest receives $1.8 million in federal funding for its TRIO student support program.
