The town of Brownsburg is considering tax incentives for a planned $435 million life sciences facility from an unnamed company that could bring nearly 2,000 total jobs to the area. Construction and mining equipment manufacturer Caterpillar, which has a large presence in Indiana, is pledging up to $5 million to support workforce training and upskilling efforts throughout the state. Plus, the city of Evansville has made a new hire to continue an initiative to fight blighted properties in the city.
